Freelance Graphic Designer

About the role

We’re looking for a versatile freelance Graphic Designer with strong aesthetic judgment and the ability to work within existing brand systems. We need someone who can take brand guidelines and references and turn them into new, cohesive, and effective pieces, with the autonomy to make design decisions and close attention to detail in every deliverable.

Key responsibilities

- Design assets for social media and paid ads (Meta Ads, Google Ads, display).
- Prepare print-ready files: stationery, flyers, banners, business cards, and other print materials.
- Occasionally design websites or landing pages.
- Create new pieces based on brand guidelines and references, maintaining consistency across each brand.
- Occasionally edit simple videos for social media or ads.
- Incorporate AI tools to generate and edit images, videos, and assets.

Requirements

- Proven experience in the tasks listed above. A portfolio is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, our main tool for static social media and ad designs.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of print file preparation (bleed, CMYK, resolution, file formats).
- Basic video editing skills in CapCut, After Effects, Premiere, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of AI tools for generating images and videos and editing assets.
- Advanced English, written and spoken.



All of our day-to-day work is in English, and all design instructions are sent in English. You must be able to understand and interpret instructions, make decisions, catch errors in copy, and communicate fluently with the team.
- Availability during U.S. Eastern business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) to respond to messages and be reachable throughout the day.
- Ability to deliver projects on short turnaround times.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own deliverables.
- Appropriate equipment (a high-performance computer, sufficient storage, and a stable internet connection) to work smoothly with large files and the assets we send.

Nice to have

- Integrating AI tools into design workflows.
- Web or UI design experience.
- Branding and visual identity design experience.
- Large-format design experience, such as vehicle wraps, signage, and large-scale print.
- Experience at a marketing agency or working across multiple brands at once.
