South Sub-Cluster Markets Treasury Trading Desk Head is a senior level position responsible for managing multiple desk of Traders, and ensuring revenue goals are met.
The overall objective of this role is to develop and implement a business plan that achieves targets set by the Integral Head of the business, while managing risk and ensuring controls are maintained.South sub-cluster is composed by Argentina, Uruguay and ParaguayResponsibilitiesDefine goals and objectives and develop a trading team that builds a cohesive, client centric product offering, and manage officer title distributionDevelop and manage the risk and trading infrastructure, including portfolio risk, and ensure risks are correctly representedCoordinate with control functions to ensure compliance with regulations, and partner with Finance to conduct annual financial planningRecruit and retain experienced hires and campus talent in coordination with HR, promoting a diverse and talented workforceOptimize resource allocation and manage the technological develop of the trading desk operationProvide stretch goals and performance reviews, to ensure high performance of Traders and promote meritocracy, ownership and accountabilityProvide input to the compensation process, promotion, talent pipeline and mobility, talent reviews, succession planning and trainingLeading strong governance and controls:Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructureBuild a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethicsAppropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same,
