Closet Design Coach & Quality Specialist (Remote)

JL Closets, a 35-year leader in premium custom storage solutions, is looking for a Closet Design Coach & Quality Specialist to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you’ll coach and support our design team, maintain high design standards, and ensure every project meets our technical requirements for accuracy and quality.

- What You’ll Do

- Review Designs for Accuracy: Inspect 3D plans, technical measurements, specifications, and quotes to identify errors and ensure accuracy.
- Coach & Develop Designers: Provide ongoing technical guidance, constructive feedback, and follow-up to improve design quality and performance.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all design submissions meet JL Closets’ technical requirements and quality expectations.
- Identify & Correct Errors: Detect discrepancies, recommend corrections,



and help prevent recurring design issues.
- Improve Design Processes: Identify opportunities to strengthen design accuracy, consistency, and team workflows.
- Promote Best Practices: Help designers follow established procedures and maintain consistent standards across projects.

What We’re Looking For

- Background: A degree or professional background in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of closet design, interior layouts, technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and the ability to identify design errors and inconsistencies.
- Coaching & Communication: Strong English communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and provide constructive feedback.
- Technical Skills: Experience with KCD Software or similar design tools is preferred; Zoho CRM experience is a plus.
- Work Style: Organized, proactive, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
