- Solid grasp of event-driven and asynchronous architecture : messaging, durable logs, at-least-once delivery, idempotency, retries, dead-letter queues, replay and backpressure. - REST API design and practical OpenAPI experience ; willingness to work to AsyncAPI contracts. - Apache Kafka or an equivalent streaming platform. - GenAI-assisted development — you actively use AI coding agents in your daily workflow, or are demonstrably keen to adopt them. We build with these tools and expect everyone in the squad to be fluent in them, including the judgement to know when their output cannot be trusted. - Testing discipline (pytest, contract testing), CI/CD pipelines , Linux, Git and containers.
