And that starts with you :) Jetpacks is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the rewrite of a food ordering mobile app from Ionic into a fully native iOS app in Swift, while contributing to the Android (Kotlin) version and the backend services and POS integrations (Toast) that power it. iOS is the top priority for this project, so we're looking for someone with deep Swift experience who also has hands-on exposure to Android and is comfortable moving across the stack. Role Responsibilities
• Lead the migration of an existing Ionic mobile app into a native iOS app built with Swift.
• Design and build clean, scalable app architecture, reusable components, and smooth user experiences for food ordering flows (menus, cart, checkout, order tracking).
• Contribute to the native Android app in Kotlin, keeping feature parity and consistency across platforms.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs that support the mobile apps.
• Build and maintain integrations with POS and food ordering platforms such as Toast.
• Handle App Store releases, TestFlight builds, and production monitoring and bug fixing.
• Collaborate closely with the client team, product, and design, sharing estimates, progress, and technical recommendations.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code and take part in code reviews. How will you be supported? You'll be onboarded to the tech team organization. You will be part of a team and will communicate with them via Slack and Google Meet. Periodic 1-on-1 meetings will be held to ensure you are successful and are having a productive and enjoyable experience.



Role Requirements We want all new hires to succeed in their roles at Jetpacks. That's why we've outlined the job requirements below. • 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with strong, hands-on iOS experience in Swift.
• Experience shipping and maintaining native iOS apps in production through the App Store.
• Working knowledge of Android development with Kotlin.
• Full stack experience building and consuming backend services and REST APIs.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs (payments, authentication, push notifications).
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture), Git, and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate directly with client stakeholders.
• Advanced English level. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Toast POS or other restaurant / food ordering platforms.
• Previous experience migrating hybrid apps to native.
• Background in e-commerce, hospitality, or ordering and checkout flows.
