How will you contribute to our magical experience?

Content Platforms & Operationsis responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney’s linear networks and theatrical content. This includes Disney’s media supply chain and storage, network and theatrical distribution operations, media localization, networktransmissionand origination, and more. The integral team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams.

This is a Full Stack Software Engineer role with an emphasis on backend development (approximately 70%) and frontend development (approximately 30%), supporting end-to-end application delivery across music supply chain platforms.

In this role, you will focus on the music integration workstream, working with data streams between our music metadata repertoire system and upstream/downstream applications. You will collaborate closely with multiple internal and external teams to enable robust data integration capabilities.

TheMusic Supply Chainfleet oversees products andoptimizesworkflows that enable users to manage both publishing and recorded music businesses—from acquisition and distribution to administration and monetization—leveraginganalytics to drive data-informed decision making.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for:

What we need from you to be part of this story:

- 3+ years of professional experience inasoftwareengineeringrole.
- StrongexpertiseinSQL, including database objects, relational database concepts, stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced level of English.
- Proficient in Java and JVM languages, with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Integration, and other Spring frameworks.
- Proficient in React fundamentals, including components, hooks, rendering behavior, and performance optimization, as well as the broader React ecosystem, including state management solutions (Context API, Redux, or Zustand), React Router, and testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Experience deploying and maintaining containerized applications on AWS environments using Kubernetes (EKS), Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR), and modern CI/CD practices.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including CI, unit/integration and functional testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Experience designing, building, and integrating APIs.
- Knowledge of OAuth, authentication, authorization, and access management.
- Practical experience with AWS services including S3, RDS, messaging, VPC, and related infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts and workflows.
- Experience with event-driven architecture (EDA) and publish/subscribe messaging (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS).
- Experience monitoring and maintaining application health and performance.
- Skilled in applying object-oriented and functional programming principles to real-world software engineering problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Effective time management and ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- AWS (advanced cloud services and infrastructure management).
