We are a fast-growing accounting firm supporting a diverse portfolio of US-based clients. As a Manager, you will sit at the heart of our delivery operations — leading a team of Associates and Senior Associates, owning senior client relationships, and helping build the processes and standards that scale with our growth. This is a role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with the people skills and operational mindset to run a high-performing team.
If you thrive on ownership, love building things, and want to grow into a senior leadership position, this is your opportunity.
What You'll Do
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Associates and Senior Associates — setting clear expectations, reviewing work, and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance conversations; identify growth opportunities for each team member
- Act as the first point of escalation for your team on technical and client issues
US Accounting
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close across all assigned engagements.
- Lead the monthly and year-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements — income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow — ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
- Oversee AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, cash receipts, and fixed-asset activity
- Produce periodic reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders
Client Ownership
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for a portfolio of US clients — managing escalations, strategic conversations, and overall client satisfaction
- Ability to roll up the sleeves and support the work execution itself when needed.
- Anticipate client needs proactively and communicate with clarity and confidence
- Sound judgement under real world complexity
Process & Operations
- Identify gaps in existing workflows and lead initiatives to standardize, document, and improve processes across the team
- Establish quality control checkpoints to maintain high delivery standards as the team scales
- Collaborate with leadership on capacity planning, onboarding new clients, and building out service capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 7 years of hands-on experience in US accounting — you have seen enough to lead others and handle complexity independently
- Strong command of written and spoken English — you're a confident communicator with both clients and internal stakeholders
- Proven experience managing or mentoring a team, with a genuine interest in developing people
- Track record of owning client relationships end-to-end, including handling escalations with professionalism and composure
- A builder's mindset — you see broken processes as problems worth fixing, not just working around
- Ability to manage across multiple clients and workstreams without losing sight of the details
- Long-term orientation — you want to grow into a senior leadership role and are looking for an organization that will grow with you
- Deep proficiency in accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar
- Contador Público, CPA, CMA,
or ACCA is STRONGLY PREFERRED.
We're looking for a leader who is as comfortable rolling up their sleeves as they are steering the bigger picture. If you're ready to own a team, own your clients, and help build something great — we want to meet you.
Why Join Us
- Get paid in US dollars
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
- A direct path to Senior Manager and Director-level roles as the organization scales
- Real ownership and autonomy — you'll run your team and client portfolio, not just execute tasks
- Be a key architect of our delivery model and team culture at a critical stage of growth
- Work with a diverse US client base across industries, building broad and deep expertise
- A leadership team that is invested in your growth and transparent about the path ahead
