The opportunity

This position is responsible for supporting the Travel, Meetings & Events team. You will be supporting travel operations, conducting learning sessions for EAs, and liaison with our TMC to ensure quality service and support of our travelers. As needed, this position will support meeting sourcing and contracting and working with internal stakeholders with the goal of increasing spend under management. You will contribute to the overall brand value, quantitative value and compliance of the greater Global Travel, Meetings & Events group through data integrity. This position follows firm, business unit and department policies, guidelines and procedures.

Your key responsibilities

- Help your team to develop and communicate the M&E; Guidelines and Procedures for the Latam Region.
- Implement and adjust the standardization of global processes and operations according to local needs and oversee compliance.
- Liaise with EY staff and suppliers resolving any issues as required
- Ensure the Region is compliant in the use of EY standardized meeting contracts, addendums and framework agreements
- Guarantee that all aspects of internal process and policies are correctly followed.
- Review EY businesses’ compliance to overall program including BRET, Independence, Finance and Procurement
- Drive best practices across all EY businesses in Sub Area
- Support Global Travel/M&E; goals and objectives by focusing on compliance, cost savings and enhancing traveller experience through innovation and alignment to the Integral Procurement Policy.

Skills and attributes for success

- Advanced degree in a related discipline, typically Business, Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management
- Significant years of business experience.




- 3 to 5 years of experience in the travel/hospitality/M&E; industry.

To qualify for the role you must have

- Travel operations experience within the Latam Region
- Event management skills and experience, mainly throughout the Latam Region
- Timely and accurate data input and document management
- Project management of live, virtual and hybrid events and knowledge of the marketplace and industry trends
- Knowledge of meeting industry software, including web registration applications, particularly Cvent.
- Ability to drive change, by building strong, trusting relationships with key customers at all levels
- Strong customer service focus and relationship management
- Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas, analytical capabilities
- Advanced written and verbal English skills in addition to local language for the responsible country
- Excellent time management skills in orderto manage multiple events and projects at one time while prioritizing other daily work
- MS Office skills, with competency in the use of Excel and Power Point

Ideally, you’ll also have

- Enjoy data management and reports in Cvent
- Any certification provided by a Travel or M&E; institution or association.
