Closet Design Quality & Training Specialist (Remote)

JL Closets, a 35-year leader in premium custom storage solutions, is looking for a Closet Design Quality & Training Specialist to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you’ll help maintain our design standards, ensure every project is technically accurate, and support our design team through training, feedback, and ongoing guidance.

What You’ll Do

- Review Designs for Accuracy: Check 3D designs, technical measurements, specifications, and quotes for accuracy and completeness.
- Train & Support Designers: Provide technical training, constructive feedback, and ongoing follow-up to help designers improve.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure design submissions meet JL Closets’ technical requirements and quality expectations.
- Identify Errors & Improvements:



Catch discrepancies, recommend corrections, and help prevent recurring design issues.
- Promote Consistency: Help standardize design practices and workflows across the team.

What We’re Looking For

- Background: A degree or professional background in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of closet design, interior layouts, technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Quality Focus: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify design errors and inconsistencies.
- Training & Communication: Strong English communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, provide constructive feedback, and mentor designers.
- Technical Skills: Experience with KCD Software or similar design tools is preferred; Zoho CRM experience is a plus.
- Work Style: Organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
