The OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives in startup environments and enjoys building scalable systems from the ground up.This role is adecuado for engineers who combine deep backend expertise with a strong ownership mindset. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems while collaborating with a highly technical and fast-moving team.The adecuado candidate has extensive experience with Java and Python , enjoys solving complex engineering problems, and embraces AI-assisted development workflows to increase productivity without compromising quality.Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.- Develop distributed systems involving databases, APIs, message queues, and data processing pipelines.- Take full ownership of features and services throughout their lifecycle, from design and implementation to monitoring and optimization.- Build production-ready systems with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.- Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency across the platform.- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring code quality and engineering best practices.- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions as the company scales.- Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and engineering standards.Requirements- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or backend development.- 5+ professional experience with Python ,
