Fortrea seeks a Manager for Centralized Monitoring in Buenos Aires to oversee clinical trial monitoring activities, lead a team of 8-20 staff, and manage risk-based monitoring strategies across multiple studies. The role requires collaboration with study teams, CRAs, and project managers to ensure protocol compliance and safety.
Responsibilities
Manage centralized monitoring activities at site, regional, and study levels across multiple clinical trials
Lead and mentor a team of 8-20 central monitoring staff including performance management and training
Identify and communicate risks, protocol deviations, safety concerns, and trends from monitoring data
Develop and maintain central monitoring plans, risk assessments, and monitoring strategies in alignment with study requirements
Configure monitoring tools,



establish risk factor trigger thresholds, and oversee dashboard development
Requirements
Experience in clinical trial centralized monitoring or similar clinical operations role
Demonstrated people management and team leadership capability
Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial regulatory requirements
Proficiency with monitoring tools, dashboards, and data analysis systems
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across internal and external teams
Familiarity with risk-based monitoring strategies and study risk assessment
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as LEAN or Six Sigma
