: Android Engineer

Location: Olivos, Buenos Aires, Argentina (100% On-site)

- Key Responsibilities

● Application Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications for enterprise use using modern toolkits.

● Hardware Integration: Integrate Android apps with native hardware SDKs to interact seamlessly with barcode scanners, RFID readers, and Bluetooth peripherals.

● Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for battery life, memory usage, and offline capabilities, which are critical in warehouse environments.

● Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Backend Engineers, iOS

Engineers, and QA Automation to deliver cohesive software solutions.

● Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and contribute to the team's engineering best practices.

- Must-Have Requirements

● Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in native Android development.

● Technical Stack:



Strong proficiency in Kotlin and proven experience building UIs with

Jetpack Compose.

● Architecture: Solid understanding of Android architecture components, MVVM/MVI design patterns, and Clean Architecture principles.

● API Integration: Experience connecting Android applications to backend services via

RESTful APIs and managing offline data synchronization.

● Language: Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency for communicating with Ampstek leadership.

● Availability: Willingness to work 100% on-site in Olivos, Buenos Aires.

- Nice-to-Have (Bonus)

● Experience working with rugged enterprise devices or Mobile Device Management (MDM)

platforms.

● Familiarity with hardware-level integrations (serial ports, custom SDKs for laser scanners).

● Domain knowledge in Logistics, Supply Chain, Retail, or Warehouse Management

Systems (WMS).
