About The Client The client operates a referral-driven consulting practice that helps manufacturing and industrial companies make faster, better decisions. Their recent work relies heavily on primary research and story telling: investigating / reaching out to and speaking with industry experts, verifying information across public and private sources, and presenting materials to its clients. The consultancy specializes in turning interviews into organized, actionable insights that support clients pursuing opportunities in both government and commercial sectors. About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support our client’s finance operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and smooth day-to-day accounting processes.

You will assist in maintaining financial data, supporting reconciliations, and preparing structured reports. A key part of this role is ensuring financial information is organized, consistent, and easy to track, contributing to a well-run and auditable accounting function.

This role focuses on execution, accuracy,



and operational support within the finance team.

What You’ll Do

- Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice tracking and payment follow-ups.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy between records and actuals.
- Help track cash flow movements and update internal reporting files.
- Prepare monthly reporting support, including gathering and organizing financial data.
- Maintain organized documentation of financial transactions for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist with expense tracking, cost allocation, and basic financial analysis.
- Support improvements in internal processes (e.g., standardizing templates, improving data accuracy, documenting procedures).

Who You Are
- Interested in accounting, finance, or business operations, ideally within structured industries such as manufacturing, real estate, or professional services.
- Familiar with basic accounting principles and accrual-based reporting.
- Comfortable working with financial data, spreadsheets, and accounting systems.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage and clean data effectively.
- Methodical, reliable, and able to follow structured processes.
- Able to communicate clearly with internal teams and support senior finance staff.

Nice to Have
- Experienced in private equity, investment banking, equity research, or a strong analytical role in a manufacturing company.
- Familiarity with operational reporting.
- Experience supporting real estate analysis or property-level financial modeling.
