Company Overview:
Our client is a small, founder-led consumer brand based in Austin, TX, that makes a regulated nicotine product (tobacco-free pouches) and sells it direct-to-consumer in the UK. Because Meta, Google, and TikTok all prohibit nicotine advertising, there is no ad budget this company can spend to buy growth — every channel that's left (search, owned email and SMS, subscription retention, referral, retail and trade, athlete and podcast partnerships, field sampling) has to be built and wired together by hand. That constraint is the whole shape of this job.
Your Role:
This is a hands-on marketing generalist role for someone who likes building things, not just planning them. Part of your week goes to using AI tools like Claude Code to connect systems, clean up lists, and automate repetitive work. The rest goes to running campaigns with the sales, field, and partnerships teams. You’ll work directly with the two founders, with plenty of ownership and visibility.

You'll:
- Build and run outreach to retailers and partners: finding the right contacts, writing the emails, and tracking what works
- Support the field team with target lists, routes, one-pagers, and follow-up emails after visits
- Own email and SMS, subscription retention (win-back and pause offers), referral programs, and search/content
- Create marketing visuals with AI tools, using the brand’s existing look and feel
