We are looking for a Contractor Engagement Partner to manage the coordination of client requests for roles that need external contractors or subcontractors, starting from when the request is made until it is fulfilled. This position connects the recruitment team, contracting and vendor partners, and client-side stakeholders, making sure every contractor requirement is clearly understood, properly priced, checked for contractual compliance, and sent through the right channels, while serving as the sole accountable owner of the entire process from demand to fulfillment.

Responsibilities

- Act as the initial contact for new client requests that might call for a contractor or subcontractor instead of a full-time employee
- Gather and confirm details on the role, required skills, timelines, and location or regional limitations directly from Demand Owners and/or the Demand Coordinator
- Work with stakeholders submitting the request to understand the business need and assess whether hiring a contractor is the appropriate solution
- Communicate timelines, rate expectations, and contracting procedures clearly to both internal teams and client-facing contacts
- Partner with the Admin office on tasks such as onboarding new agencies, extending contracts, clearing backlogs, or removing obstacles that could lead to lost revenue
- Pass along demand details to the recruitment team, including rate information and other necessary specifics
- Address any TA questions regarding the engagement model, agency usage, or location requirements
- Assess proposed rates together with stakeholders and vendors to project margins for each contractor placement

- Identify rate or margin situations that exceed approved limits and escalate them for sign-off when necessary
- Examine current contractor and subcontractor agreements to understand which engagement types, rates, and terms are allowed
- Spot contractual limitations or gaps, including scope restrictions, exclusivity clauses, or regional constraints, before advancing a role
- Monitor each demand from start to finish to prevent delays during handoffs between recruitment, vendors, the Admin Office, and stakeholders

Requirements

- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing contracting engagements, covering rate structures, margins, agency vetting and performance tracking, and standard contract terms
- Background collaborating with recruitment or talent acquisition teams on sourcing, fulfillment, and identifying delays or obstacles
- Ability to read and interpret vendor or subcontractor contracts to identify permitted and restricted terms
- Strong skills in managing senior stakeholders, with confidence engaging both internal teams and client-side demand owners
- Ability to question demand constructively and provide guidance on contingent workforce strategy
- English proficiency at B2 level or above

Nice to have

- Proficiency in SAP Fieldglass

We offer

- International projects with top brands
- Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers
- Healthcare benefits
- Employee financial programs
- Paid time off and sick leave
- Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses
- Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses
- General career opportunities
- Volunteer and community involvement opportunities
- EPAM Employee Groups
- Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
