About the RoleAt Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and financial oversight.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, budgeting support, and accounting operations. If you have strong GAAP or IFRS expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for building scalable financial processes, this role is a great fit.
ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations & Financial Close• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, payroll, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.

Financial Reporting• Prepare GAAP or IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Deliver P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights.




• Support executive, board, and investor reporting.

Internal Controls & Compliance• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare audit documentation.
• Support tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor financial governance and risk.

Budgeting & Treasury• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
• Manage banking relationships and treasury activities.
• Assist with capital allocation and financial analysis.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Improve accounting workflows and financial systems.
• Support ERP implementations and process automation.
• Develop scalable accounting procedures and controls.

Required Experience & Skills• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of accounting or finance experien
