Role Description This full-time, remote contractor role as a Forward Deployed Engineer (Mid-Level) involves working directly with customers to design, implement, and support tailored software solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing client requirements, developing and maintaining back-end services, integrating systems and APIs, and troubleshooting complex technical issues in production environments.

The engineer will collaborate with product and engineering teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving deployment, monitoring, and support processes. The role also includes documenting technical solutions, providing guidance to stakeholders on best practices,



and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, reliable software aligned with customer objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Practical knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
- Applied experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and writing maintainable, testable code.
- Ability to work directly with customers to gather requirements, diagnose issues, and explain technical concepts in clear, accessible English.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools, agile workflows, and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, or DevOps practices is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in dynamic environments.
