Chemisys Laboratories is seeking a highly organized, creative, and proactive specialist to support the growth of its clinical laboratory.

The role focuses primarily on medical insurance credentialing and payer enrollment, along with social media marketing and digital brand development. It will also support research and development of government-contracting opportunities related to laboratory and healthcare services.

The idóneo candidate is a self-starter who combines strong administrative and research skills with creativity, professional judgment, and the ability to build an organization’s digital presence.

Priority #1: Medical Insurance Credentialing & Payer Enrollment

- Research insurance networks and payer opportunities appropriate for the laboratory.
- Manage commercial insurance credentialing and payer-enrollment applications.
- Support Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, revalidation, and related requirements.
- Identify opportunities for the laboratory to become participating or in-network with additional health plans.
- Communicate with insurance companies, network representatives, and credentialing departments.
- Track applications from initial submission through approval and contracting.
- Maintain records of applications, contracts, effective dates, renewals, recredentialing requirements, and outstanding documentation.
- Follow up consistently with payers regarding pending applications and contracting opportunities.
- Work with CAQH, PECOS, NPPES/NPI, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer portals as applicable.
- Research credentialing requirements for independent clinical laboratories.
- Coordinate required documentation with management, billing, compliance, and other departments.
- Develop an organized and scalable system for managing credentialing and payer relationships across multiple states.

Previous experience in medical insurance credentialing, payer enrollment, provider relations, healthcare contracting, or clinical laboratory credentialing is strongly preferred.

Priority #2: Social Media Marketing & Brand Development

- Help develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy.

- Manage the company’s presence on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Create and maintain a consistent content calendar.
- Develop, coordinate, and publish engaging social media content.
- Produce educational content covering laboratory services, healthcare trends, industry information, company initiatives, and educational programs.
- Create or coordinate graphics, short-form videos, photos, educational posts, and other digital assets.
- Establish a consistent and professional brand voice.
- Grow followers and engagement among relevant healthcare professionals and organizations.
- Connect with potential customers, referral sources, healthcare organizations, and industry professionals.
- Use LinkedIn strategically for B2B relationship development and lead generation.

- Analyze successful content and continuously improve the strategy based on results.
- Research competitors and successful healthcare or laboratory organizations to identify opportunities and best practices.
- Assist with paid social media advertising and targeted campaigns when appropriate.
- Ensure all content is suitable for a healthcare environment and does not disclose patient or protected health information.

Experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, short-form video, Canva or similar tools, scheduling platforms, analytics, and B2B social media marketing is strongly preferred. Healthcare, clinical laboratory, behavioral health, medical, or professional B2B marketing experience is an exceptional advantage.

Priority #3: Government Contracting & Public-Sector Opportunities

- Research federal, state, county, municipal, VA, correctional, behavioral health, and public-health contracting opportunities.
- Monitor SAM.gov, state procurement systems, bid portals, and other procurement databases.
- Identify RFPs, RFQs, solicitations, and subcontracting opportunities involving clinical laboratory testing, toxicology, drug testing, behavioral health, diagnostic testing, and related healthcare services.
