Built is seeking a U.S. Tax Advisor / Tax Specialist with strong knowledge of U.S. business taxation and the ability to work directly with business owners and company leaders.

This is an advisory-focused position. We are looking for someone who can go beyond tax preparation, bookkeeping, or transaction processing and provide credible guidance on business structure, tax planning, and tax strategy.

The right candidate will combine strong technical tax knowledge with excellent communication skills. You should be polished, confident, consultative, and comfortable speaking directly with U.S.-based clients about their businesses and tax considerations.

Key Responsibilities

- Advise business owners and company leaders on U.S. tax matters.
- Provide guidance on how businesses and startups may be structured from a tax perspective.
- Discuss tax planning and tax strategy directly with clients.
- Help clients understand the tax implications of business decisions.




- Communicate technical tax concepts clearly and confidently to non-tax professionals.
- Build credibility and trust with clients through professional, consultative communication.
- Work with QuickBooks and other standard accounting or ERP systems as needed.

Required Skills

- Strong, practical knowledge of U.S. business taxation.
- Experience providing tax advisory, tax planning, or tax strategy guidance.
- Ability to advise business owners or company leaders directly.
- Understanding of tax considerations related to business/entity structure.
- Strong client-facing and consultative communication skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Professional, polished, and confident presence when working with U.S. clients.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with standard accounting or ERP systems.
