The Role
As a Modeler or BIM Specialist, you will create accurate BIM models for the MEP trades (Mechanical and Plumbing). Your role involves reviewing specifications and design information to ensure models are constructible and high quality. You will work autonomously, identifying and resolving conflicts during the modeling process and ensuring the final product meets client expectations.
Language Skills
- Advanced level of English is required, both spoken and written.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience modeling piping, plumbing, or HVAC in Revit
This can include things like process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, and mechanical equipment (pumps, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, and boilers), and for plumbing, domestic water, sanitary drainage and gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, pumps, heaters, and hangers.
Software Skills
- Revit and Navisworks experience; knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports, QA/QC, and model accuracy is a plus.
Education
- A Mechanical or Civil engineering bachelor's degree (architects could be considered, but only if they have extensive experience modeling and coordinating MEP trades themselves)
