Job Description
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for performing testing activities within an agile scrum team. You will be responsible for test design, execution and defect management. You will adhere to the defined testing strategy, templates, processes in your scrum team(s). You will identify risks, dependencies and issues affecting QA activities and remediate those with support from the Sr QA Lead and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment on QA objectives.
- Test planning,



scripting/test case writing and requirement traceability.
- Test execution – smoke, regression, end to end testing and provide UAT support.
- Identify test automation scope and build/execute test automation scripts.
- Defect management, triage and associated retesting/regression testing.
- Test data identification and preparation, test environment management in coordination with the release teams.
- Collaborate with various project stakeholders such as Product Owners, Technical Managers, architects and Development teams across various stages of the project for implementing and adhering to defined QA practices.
- Periodic review of the testing activities with the Technical Test Manager/Sr Lead/Client QA Leads.
- Provide project quality reports and insights to the leadership.
- Identify risks, dependencies and issues and collaborate/escalate for resolution.
