The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives in startup environments and enjoys building scalable systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
- Develop distributed systems involving databases, APIs, message queues, and data processing pipelines.
- Take full ownership of features and services throughout their lifecycle, from design and implementation to monitoring and optimization.
- Build production-ready systems with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.




- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency across the platform.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring code quality and engineering best practices.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions as the company scales.
- Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and engineering standards.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or backend development.
- 5+ professional experience with Python , building and maintaining production-grade backend systems.
- Strong experience with Java .
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based application development (AI agents, agentic systems, or LLM-powered applications)
- Experience building AI-driven features, LLM integrations, or agenti
