BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (BDR)

The Business Development Representative (BDR) focuses on creating and nurturing new business opportunities through a combination of outbound prospecting and strategic relationship building. While similar to an SDR, the BDR role typically targets more strategic or mid-market accounts and may manage longer nurture cycles. The BDR bridges the gap between marketing-generated interest and sales-ready opportunities,



ensuring a consistent flow of qualified pipeline for Account Executives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and engage target accounts through multi-channel outbound strategies (cold calls, email, LinkedIn, events).
• Research key stakeholders and decision-makers within target companies to personalize outreach.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations, assessing fit against ICP criteria.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospects over longer nurture cycles through consistent and value-driven follow-up.
• Schedule and confirm discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all activities, interactions, and pipeline stages in the CRM.
• Collaborate with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and follow-up sequences.
• Meet monthly and quarterly pipeline contributions and meeting-booked targets.
