Job Description
Our client is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper. You will handle daily client-fund reconciliation, payment preparation, and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to become a trusted, ongoing member of their financial operations team. You will develop a thorough knowledge of their accounts and take pride in keeping daily operations accurate and dependable. Responsibilities Of The Role
- Reconcile client funds daily. Identify deposits from multiple processing platforms into sweep accounts for approximately 55 clients. Apply prescribed deductions for fees, program payments, and advance repayments.
Calculate balances payable to clients.
- Process transactions and prepare payments. Download, sort, and allocate bank transactions. Upload them into the Wave accounting system. Record payout entries and prepare payment files.
- Prepare weekly commission reports. Calculate commissions payable to origination partners using established rules. Prepare reports for review.
- Provide internal cash-movement reports. Give the client-service team current information about client remittances, settlement payments, and advance payments.
- Produce client statements. Prepare statements and reconciliation reports explaining client funds and settlement activity.
Required Experience And Qualifications
- At least two years of practical bookkeeping experience. This includes reconciliations, transaction imports and exports, payment preparation, and routine financial reporting.
- Experience using QuickBooks.
- Proficiency with Exce
