The team includes full stack developers, low-code platform developers, and engineers supporting legacy desktop applications. The role covers application development only. The data engineering team sits elsewhere, though you'll work closely with them.You will set technical direction, manage and mentor the team, stay close to the code, and help complete the migration from legacy platforms to modern web applications. Once the migration is complete, the team will continue to build and support these web applications as full stack developers.The adecuado candidate is a hands-on engineering leader with strong full stack experience, working knowledge of legacy platforms, and a track record of growing engineers.The weight of this role sits on hands-on technical work: roughly 80% technical and 20% people leadership, with direct reports.What You'll Do* Lead, manage, and mentor a team of direct reports,



including a Senior Full Stack Developer, low-code platform engineers, and legacy desktop and full stack engineers.* Set technical direction, architecture, and coding standards for the modern web applications and the migration work behind them.* Plan, prioritize, and assign work in Jira with product managers and business stakeholders, and deliver on commitments.* Stay hands-on: write code and lead design for complex features, integrations, and APIs.* Own the integration strategy between the new web applications and internal data platforms, including interim integrations with legacy systems during the migration.* Help complete the migration from legacy platforms to modern web applications, covering planning, sequencing, data migration, and cutover.* Turn low-code and legacy desktop engineers into full stack developers through mentoring, pairing, and training, so the team can keep building and supporting the ne
