As a Senior Back-End Engineer at heva, you will be building the core infrastructure at the intersection of healthcare, crypto, and AI. You’ll design, develop, and scale the backend systems that power our AI-driven care platform, our payments and wallet infrastructure, and our cross-border healthcare operations. You will work closely with front-end engineers, AI/agent engineers, and product leaders to ship secure, compliant, and high-performance systems that handle sensitive medical data, financial transactions, and real-time AI workflows. This role requires deep expertise in Golang, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native architectures, as well as strong experience designing APIs, scaling distributed systems, and optimizing data-intensive workloads. You’ll be building foundational systems that sit in a high-trust, regulated environment, where reliability, security, and correctness matter as much as speed. What you'll do
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang (Gin) and PostgreSQL.
- Design and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs powering front-end and AI-driven features.
- Integrate payment systems (e.g., Stripe) ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant transactions.
- Leverage Redis for caching, rate limiting, and distributed task management.
- Architect and maintain microservice-based systems with strong observability and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to deploy and serve machine learning models efficiently.
- Implement secure authentication and RBAC using JWT/OAuth2 and best security practices.
- Drive code quality, mentorship, and engineering excellence, including reviews and documentation.
