What’s the opportunity?
We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-oriented Associate to join our Traffic Monitoring Team. This role is key to helping dLocal monitor the quality, compliance, and operational health of our payment and financial flows across products, markets, and processors. The person in this role will help maintain visibility over routing and critical data fields, identify deviations or inconsistencies, and coordinate follow-up with the right teams. The role combines operations, analytics, and governance, with a strong focus on making controls more scalable, reliable, and automated over time. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys going deep into operational detail while helping build more structured and durable ways of working.
What will you be doing?
- Monitor payment and financial flows across multiple systems, identifying deviations from expected routing, operational logic, or compliance requirements.
- Maintain and improve the master view of flow routings, data fields, and monitoring logic across products, markets, and processors.
- Investigate misalignments between different data sources and real-life transaction behavior, helping quantify impact and isolate root causes.
- Partner with Operations, Regulatory, Treasury, Finance, Compliance, Product, and other teams to follow up on issues and support remediation.
- Prepare recurring reports, analyses, and concise written updates that help stakeholders understand issues, risks, trends, and required actions.
- Support the definition and documentation of monitoring rules, control logic, escalation paths,
and operating playbooks.
- Help build and improve dashboards, checks, and reporting routines that increase visibility and reduce manual work.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting tasks, and work with the relevant teams to turn them into scalable solutions.
- Track open issues with strong ownership, ensuring the right follow-up, accountability, and closure across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of dLocal’s traffic monitoring framework, helping make it more robust, more auditable, and easier to operate.
What skills do you need?
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, payments, financial services, risk, compliance, treasury, analytics, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to reconcile information across multiple sources, spot inconsistencies, and structure findings clearly.
- Solid operations mindset, with comfort working on recurring controls, issue follow-up, process discipline, and detail-heavy workflows.
- Good understanding of payment flows, routing, data fields, or operational processes in fintech, payments, or financial services is a strong plus.
- Strong toolkit in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with BI tools and SQL is a plus.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to explain operational or analytical issues in a simple and structured way.
- High ownership, curiosity, and follow-through, with a strong bias toward process improvement and automation.
