Responsibilities

- Create and evolve reusable automation frameworks that support product expectations and technical quality goals
- Work with product, development, and delivery colleagues to keep work on track and ensure outcomes meet agreed standards
- Bring a quality assurance perspective to system-design conversations and help determine effective testing approaches
- Evaluate automation code written by peers and share actionable suggestions that improve consistency and reliability
- Analyze difficult testing problems across the delivery process and implement appropriate solutions
- Help early-career team members improve through technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
- Support project preparation by clarifying testing boundaries and contributing realistic effort assessments
- Explore new tools and industry developments, adopting practical improvements within routine quality activities
- Record significant implementation choices and testing procedures to preserve knowledge and enable sustainable quality control




- Align with stakeholders on expected results and validate that completed work fulfills defined acceptance criteria

Requirements

- Three or more years of hands-on experience in test automation, software quality, or a comparable area
- Advanced JavaScript skills for writing, updating, and supporting automated validation scenarios
- Practical experience with Playwright and related JavaScript UI automation tools to assess browser-based functionality
- Understanding of API and web service automation techniques for confirming backend reliability and expected behavior
- Experience using version control workflows to organize test-code revisions and maintain change traceability
- Strong knowledge of automation framework design for building extensible and long-lasting test platforms
- Background using JavaScript BDD tools to create automated scenarios based on expected user behavior
- Familiarity with AI methods and tools that can improve test coverage, execution, and quality outcomes
- Professional English proficiency at B2 level or above in written and spoken communication
