Sherav HK Ltd is a Hong Kong based general procurement partner. Since 1997 we have helped clients design, source, manufacture and ship products from a network of more than 20,000 suppliers across 25 countries. We are now building our presence in Mexico and are looking for our first representative in the market.
The role
You will be our commercial presence in Mexico. This is a field role, working from home with daily client visits, building a customer base from the ground up. You will report to the Export Sales Manager and work directly with our Head of Emerging Markets in Hong Kong.
Most of the country’s consumer goods importers sit in Mexico City and its metropolitan area, so that is where you will spend the majority of your time. Guadalajara, Monterrey and León are secondary centres, with travel approved where the opportunity justifies it.
What you will do
• Prospect and open new accounts with importers, distributors, wholesalers and retail buyers
• Present our products and sourcing services, support quotations and negotiations through to confirmed orders




• Manage and grow existing accounts, resolving issues and driving repeat business
• Flag certification and labelling requirements early in the quoting process so customers are not caught by clearance delays
• Report weekly on pipeline, visits and market conditions, including competitor activity, pricing and changes to import rules

What we are looking for
• Experience selling to importers, distributors or retail buyers in Mexico, with a network you can start working from day one
• Comfort working independently and building a territory without an office behind you
• Spanish at native or fluent level, and professional English for reporting and correspondence with Hong Kong
• Based in Mexico City, with the right to work in Mexico
• Familiarity with NOM product certification and the importer registry is an advantage
