This role ensures the integrity, availability, and performance of Tableau systems, acting as a technical lead/ delegate for all Tableau-related operations and projects. This role ensures the integrity, availability, and performance of Tableau systems, acting as a technical lead/ delegate for all Tableau-related operations and projects. The position requires deep expertise in Tableau, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, and data users across the organization.

Tasks and responsibilities




- System Administration: Manage Tableau Server / Cloud infrastructure, including installation, upgrades, configuration, and monitoring.
- User Management: Administer user access, permissions, and group policies; onboard new users / projects and provide technical support.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and reliability.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols, ensure compliance with data governance policies, and manage authentication/integration with enterprise systems.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and oversee backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and restoration processes for Tableau environments.
