About the Role Our client is seeking a highly strategic and accomplished Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead and direct all operational aspects of the business from their headquarters in Sandton . This executive position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, implementing operational strategies, and ensuring the company achieves its strategic and financial goals. You will work closely with the CEO and other C-suite executives to drive growth, optimize performance, and maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies to support the company’s vision and growth objectives.

- Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including production, supply chain, logistics, and customer service.
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure financial accountability across all operational units.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing executive and operational team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.




- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

Requirements - 15+ years of progressive experience in operations management , with a minimum of 7 years in an executive leadership role (COO, VP Operations, or equivalent).

- Proven track record of success in leading large-scale operational transformations and driving significant business growth.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, financial acumen, and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex P&Ls; and achieving ambitious financial targets.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
