The Remote Club is an early-stage project exploring how to make remote work more accessible, connected, and community-driven. Our goal is to connect remote workers, aspiring digital nomads, and companies through useful resources, opportunities, and a growing international community.

We're exploring the idea of developing a professional networking platform inspired by LinkedIn, designed specifically for the remote-work ecosystem.

We're looking for a passionate, curious developer who wants to contribute to an early-stage project, gain practical experience, collaborate with people from different backgrounds, and help shape a product from the ground up.

What you'll do

- Collaborate with the founder and other contributors to explore and develop the platform's concept.
- Help define the initial MVP and identify the most useful features to build first.
- Contribute to website and web application development, including frontend and/or backend functionality.
- Explore technical solutions for user profiles, professional networking, community features, and other potential platform capabilities.
- Share ideas, suggest improvements, and participate in collaborative planning sessions.
- Document your work and communicate progress with the team.

The exact responsibilities will depend on your interests, technical skills, and availability. You won't be expected to build an entire platform alone. What we're looking for
- An aspiring or junior web developer interested in gaining hands-on experience.
- Basic knowledge of web development, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, backend development, or comparable technologies.
- An interest in building digital products and solving real-world problems.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and an interest in collaborating remotely.

- A portfolio, GitHub repository, personal project, or university project is welcome, but professional experience is not required.

Bonus points if you:

- Enjoy participating in Discord communities, hackathons, open-source projects,



or developer communities.
- Have experimented with Supabase, Firebase, APIs, databases, or no-code tools.

- Are interested in remote work, digital nomadism, community building, or professional networking.

There are no unrealistic productivity expectations or requirements to be available around the clock. We'll agree on an initial scope together and adjust it based on everyone's capacity.
