At K-LAGAN, we are looking for a Distributed Services Engineer to join our team and become part of a high-impact international project, ensuring the resilience, security, and scalability of mission-critical infrastructure and distributed services.

You will be responsible for:

- Technical Design & Operations: Perform technical design, build, and run duties for distributed services, ensuring they are fit for purpose, reliable, and ready for production in a demanding 24x7 secure environment.
- Active Directory Management: Oversee Active Directory administration, migration, and convergence, managing complex AD environments with multiple Forests and Trusts.
- Core Network & Identity Services: Manage internal and external DNS, domain registration, DHCP, NPS, Radius, and Certificate Authorities (CA).
- Automation & Scripting: Implement scripting and automation techniques to standardize, control, and simplify environments (including the use of automation tools and scripting).
- Security & Compliance: Monitor and align service security levels with requirements and controls, executing security actions such as audits, remediations, hardening, patching, tooling, and pen testing.
- Reliability & Availability: Ensure infrastructure reliability and availability through robust monitoring, alerting, and operational Business Continuity processes.
- Support & Collaboration: Provide consultation and escalation paths for business units and internal teams, participating in 24x7x365 on-call support and collaborating with integral squads following a follow-the-sun approach.

What you need to perform in this position:

Key Experience & Technical Skills:

- Engineering or Technical Degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5-8 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, with at least 3 years focused on Distributed Services like Active Directory.




- Proven experience managing complex AD environments with multiple Forests and Trusts, DNS, DHCP, NPS, Radius, and Certificate Authorities.
- Solid background in scripting and automation techniques.
- Advanced / fluent English level (C1), both spoken and written (essential for daily interaction with international teams).

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

- Professional Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, Security, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in ensuring Infrastructure Reliability and Availability (monitoring and alerting).
- Strong knowledge of IT Production methods, particularly Agile, ITIL, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with directory services evolution toward Cloud AD and Identity Management (IDM), as well as Remote/Offshore Access (VPN gateways, Citrix).

Interpersonal Skills:

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive mindset with the capacity to propose and implement new processes and methods.
- Expert judgment with the ability to quickly identify, analyze, evaluate, and resolve problems at local, regional, and international levels.
- Location: Argentina (Remote, with office presence required up to 2 times per week maximum and subject to review).
- Contract Type: Full-time.
- Salary Range: Approximately €35,000 gross/year (negotiable based on the experience brought by the candidate).
