Key Responsibilities
- Perform network, web application, and system penetration tests using various methodologies and tools.
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities, documenting findings and their potential impact.
- Develop detailed reports outlining vulnerabilities, risks, and recommended remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed effectively.
- Stay current with the latest penetration testing techniques, tools, and threat landscapes.
- Conduct security reviews of new systems and applications during the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GPEN) are highly advantageous.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing.
- Proficiency with a wide range of security testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
- Strong understanding of common web vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and network exploitation techniques.
- Experience with scripting languages for automating testing tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
