About the Role

Our client, a distinguished international development organization focused on improving access to education and healthcare in underserved regions, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Remote Project Manager . This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to manage impactful projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to foster collaboration among diverse, globally distributed teams. You will play a critical role in advancing our client's mission to create sustainable positive change worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and support to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, team members, and partners across different time zones.




- Conduct regular project reviews and provide comprehensive status reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and organizational policies throughout project execution.

Requirements

- A Master's degree in International Development, Public Policy, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant focus on international development or humanitarian aid.
- Proven success in managing complex, multi-country projects within budget and on schedule.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, global team environment.
