Senior Technical Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Consultant to join a collaborative, fully remote technology consulting team supporting small and mid-sized businesses in the United States.

This is not a narrow product-administration role. We are looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals and broad infrastructure experience who can confidently work across different technologies, troubleshoot complex problems, and adapt when encountering something unfamiliar.

The adecuado candidate combines strong technical ability with excellent client communication, sound judgment, curiosity, and a customer-first mindset. You will work directly with clients, handle both support and project work, collaborate with other senior consultants, and eventually have the opportunity to take greater ownership of client technology strategy and solution architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a primary technical consultant for assigned client environments and take ownership of ensuring technical needs are addressed successfully.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365, endpoints, identity, security, cloud, networking, servers, and related infrastructure.
- Perform root-cause analysis rather than simply resolving immediate symptoms, with the goal of preventing recurring issues.
- Support and deliver technical projects, implementations, migrations, upgrades, security improvements, and infrastructure changes.
- Work across multiple technologies and confidently investigate unfamiliar systems using documentation, research, testing, and collaboration.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding technical issues, recommendations, progress,



risks, and next steps.
- Translate technical considerations into practical solutions that make sense for small and mid-sized businesses.
- Collaborate with other senior consultants when additional expertise is needed rather than working in isolation.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, documentation, standards, and continuous improvement.
- Balance multiple client priorities while maintaining strong ownership and follow-through.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 7 years of directly relevant professional IT/infrastructure experience; candidates with 10+ years are strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and related technologies.
- Broad technical experience across several areas such as endpoint/PC management, identity, security, Azure/cloud infrastructure, networking, servers, and Microsoft technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.
- Ability to independently research and learn unfamiliar technologies rather than relying solely on previous product experience.
- Experience supporting production environments and delivering technical projects or implementations.
- Excellent spoken and written English with the confidence to lead conversations with U.S.-based clients.
- Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to consider both technical requirements and business value.




- Comfortable handling both technical support cases and project-based work.
- Highly collaborative, low-ego approach with the judgment to know when to investigate independently and when to involve teammates.
- Ability and willingness to work during U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

- 10-15 years of relevant professional technology experience.
- Previous experience in a MSP, technology consulting firm, Microsoft partner, or multi-client environment.
- Experience supporting small and mid-sized businesses.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and cybersecurity.
- Networking experience across firewalls, switching, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and related technologies.
- macOS or Apple device-management experience.
- Exposure to AWS, Google Workspace, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience designing solutions or providing architecture-level technical recommendations.
- Relevant Microsoft or infrastructure certifications.
