Who We Need?
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Revenue Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this key role, you'll ensure accurate financial reporting related to project revenue, manage invoicing and deferred revenue, and play a critical part in our month-end close process.
This position is idóneo for someone with a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly within a professional services environment. Key Responsibilities• Project Revenue Management:• Apply appropriate revenue recognition methods (e.g., percentage of completion), ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and company policies.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and project managers to validate revenue data and align project milestones with revenue events.
• Maintain and reconcile the deferred revenue schedule, ensuring proper allocation and recognition over time.
• Invoicing & Accounts Receivable:• Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices based on project milestones or time & materials.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Reconcile billed amounts with project contracts and customer accounts.
