About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to provide crucial financial insights and support for their extensive FMCG operations in Sandton . You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, playing a key role in driving informed business decisions and ensuring financial health. This position requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to various stakeholders across the organization. You will work closely with management to monitor financial performance, identify trends, and contribute to strategic financial planning initiatives within the dynamic FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and providing explanations.
- Prepare regular financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management.




- Conduct financial analysis on various business initiatives, such as new product launches, market expansions, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests and provide business partners with financial insights to drive strategic decision-making.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (CFA, CA(SA)) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
