Our client is seeking a highly experienced and adaptable Facilities Maintenance and Sanitation Manager to oversee operations in their prestigious Sandton location. This senior role is responsible for ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of operational efficiency, safety, and hygiene. You will manage both routine maintenance tasks and specialized sanitation programs, leading a dedicated team of professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and sanitation strategies for all facilities.
- Supervise and manage teams responsible for building maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building code regulations.
- Manage budgets for maintenance, repairs,



and sanitation supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and facility downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized services.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management, with a strong focus on maintenance and sanitation.
- Proven experience managing budgets and leading diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and sanitation best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work schedule, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
