About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Supply Chain operations to join their strategic team in Sandton . This role is critical for optimizing the flow of goods, information, and resources from procurement to final delivery. You will lead initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, logistics planning, and inventory management through the application of advanced industrial engineering principles. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation logistics.
- Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts, material flow systems, and picking/packing processes.
- Utilize simulation and modeling tools to evaluate and improve supply chain network design and operational strategies.
- Develop and implement performance metrics (KPIs)



to monitor supply chain efficiency, cost, and service levels.
- Lead projects focused on inventory reduction, lead time improvement, and cost optimization within the supply chain.
- Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, manufacturing, sales) and external logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Industrial Engineering with a strong focus on supply chain and logistics optimization.
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies applied to supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in supply chain modeling and simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, Arena).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership and project management capabilities.
