At the core of the role
We are looking for a Middle AQA Engineer to join a long-term project for a leading regional bank in Argentina. The idóneo candidate is an experienced QA professional with a strong automation background who is also comfortable contributing to manual testing activities when needed.
Our client is one of Argentina's most important financial institutions. The bank plays a vital role in supporting regional economic development and providing banking services across underserved communities.
Core skills you’ll bring
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a primary focus on test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with: Python, Pytest, Playwright, Git.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Solid understanding of test planning,
execution, and defect management.
- Ability to analyze test scenarios, failures, root causes, and test coverage gaps.
- Experience performing functional/manual testing when required.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA best practices.
- Knowledge of banking processes and financial systems.
- Experience working with Bantotal or similar banking platforms.
- Native-level Spanish and Intermediate English.
Nice-to-have
- Experience improving and scaling automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with API testing and test automation tools.
