At the core of the role
We are looking for a Senior AQA Engineer to join a long-term project for a leading regional bank in Argentina. The idóneo candidate is an experienced QA professional with a strong automation background who is also comfortable contributing to manual testing activities when needed.
You will play a key role in ensuring software quality across banking platforms and services, driving the evolution of test automation practices, improving test coverage, and supporting the team with technical expertise and mentorship.

Core skills you’ll bring

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance,



with a primary focus on test automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with: Python, Pytest, Playwright, Git.

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.

• Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect management.

• Ability to analyze test scenarios, failures, root causes, and test coverage gaps.

• Experience performing functional/manual testing when required.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA best practices.

• Knowledge of banking processes and financial systems.

• Experience working with Bantotal or similar banking platforms.

• Native-level Spanish and Intermediate English.

Nice-to-have

• Experience improving and scaling automation frameworks.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
