Financial Reporting Manager

JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee our financial reporting and operations and lead our remote finance team based in Argentina.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our financial leadership structure, helping us maintain accurate financial information, improve internal systems, and provide insights that support strategic growth. If you're experienced in accounting and financial reporting, passionate about accuracy and process improvement, and enjoy leading a team in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

- Take ownership of daily financial operations, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
- Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership
- Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
- Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
- Track budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support smarter business decisions
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures and financial controls
- Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
- Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting, accounting workflows, systems, and team processes

What You Bring





- 15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
- Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, and financial compliance
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, and financial controls
- Experience managing remote teams and working independently
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
