Talent Consultant, Assistant Director

As a Talent Consultant, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping shape and drive the talent agenda across key areas of the business. You’ll partner with a diverse network of stakeholders to deliver strategic talent solutions that support business priorities, leadership effectiveness and workforce development. The opportunity
Talent continues to play an increasingly strategic role in supporting our business priorities, and this position reflects that evolution. You’ll build strong relationships with leaders across the organization, providing guidance, insights and recommendations on a broad range of talent matters.
This role offers the opportunity to operate with a high degree of autonomy while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to address complex people challenges. You’ll help shape talent strategies that enable business objectives, strengthen leadership capabilities and foster an engaging employee experience. Your Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for leading and facilitating strategic talent activities for a designated employee population, acting as a primary Talent advisor to business leaders and stakeholders.
Working closely with other Talent team members, you’ll implement, execute and influence key Talent programs and processes aligned with the broader Talent agenda, including performance management, compensation, career development and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
You’ll provide consultative guidance on employee and leadership-related matters, helping leaders navigate complex situations and make informed talent decisions. You’ll also leverage workforce data and business insights to identify trends, assess organizational needs and recommend solutions that support both people and business priorities.
A key aspect of the role will be balancing employee experience considerations with business objectives while exercising sound judgement and strong critical thinking in decision-making.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Significant experience in Talent Consulting, Human Capital, HR Business Partnering or a related field
- Experience supporting and advising business leaders on a broad range of talent matters
- Experience owning and supporting a specific employee population or business area
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong command of the English language (written and oral)
- Cross-border working experience
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Society for Human Resource Management certification
- Experience working within a professional services industry or complex matrixed environment
- Experience partnering with senior leaders in strategic talent initiatives and organizational change efforts
- Financial Services knowledge (e.g., Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance and/or Wealth Management)
