: Clinical Research Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant to join our dynamic team. The idóneo candidate will support clinical trials and research projects aimed at advancing healthcare outcomes and scientific knowledge. Working collaboratively with a diverse group of researchers, clinicians, and participants, the Clinical Research Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring the success and integrity of studies.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of clinical research studies according to regulatory guidelines and protocols.

- Recruit, screen, and schedule participants for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with study inclusion/exclusion criteria.

- Collect, organize, and document clinical data while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

- Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, and other stakeholders to manage the daily operations of research projects.

- Prepare and maintain institutional review board (IRB) submissions, informed consent forms, and other regulatory documents.

- Monitor participant status and communicate any adverse effects or unexpected developments to study coordinators or principal investigators.





- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and ethical standards.

- Maintain tracking systems for study materials, records, and data collection processes.

- Contribute to literature reviews, presentations, and reports for publication or internal use.

- Provide administrative and logistical support to the research team, including scheduling meetings and managing study supplies.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

- Skills and Experience:

- Demonstrated experience or coursework in clinical research, biomedical research, or related fields.

- Strong understanding of clinical trials and research methodologies.

- Proficient in data collection, entry, and management with attention to detail.

- Familiarity with GCP standards and IRB processes is highly desirable.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and participants.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.

- Technical Expertise: Basic knowledge of statistical analysis software, electronic data capture systems (e.g., REDCap), and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends based on the needs of the research project.
