Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Controller to join our dynamic and diverse team. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health and stability of our organization. As a key leader in the finance department, you will ensure that financial activities are executed in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset to streamline financial operations and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

As the Controller, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Financial Oversight: Manage the organization's accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards, providing insights to support business decision-making.
- Budgeting: Assist in the design, preparation, and monitoring of budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic goals.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure adequate funds for operations.
- Audit and Compliance: Lead internal and external audits while ensuring all practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support finance team staff members, promoting a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Software Management: Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage financial data,



prepare reports, and coordinate communications with stakeholders.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement internal controls, protocols, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
- Communication: Serve as a key contact for auditors, vendors, and clients, ensuring excellent communication and timely resolution of financial matters.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

Required:

- Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar position.
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proficient understanding of financial principles, best practices, and GAAP compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred:

- CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certifications.
- Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with advanced Excel functions (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry-specific financial software tools.
