Our client is a leading general automotive manufacturer with a broad range of motorcycles and scooters, selling through distributors across multiple international markets. It is expanding its international business and building regional leadership teams to drive that growth.
The role
You will own sales performance in your country, working through distributors and dealers to deliver monthly retail, collection and shipment targets. You will develop distributor organizations, grow the network, plan market activations and product launches, and bring customer and market insight back to the business.
What you will do
• Deliver monthly plans for retail, collections and shipments
• Assess seasonal trends and stocking needs, and recommend shipment plans
• Assess distributor organizations, recommend structure and close gaps
• Identify network gaps and recommend towns that need network action
• Drive company sales processes and values
• Report on local regulations, distributor profitability, pricing, competition and product quality
• Plan sales promotions, activations and new product launches
• Train distributor and dealer sales teams on product and sales process
• Build strategic programs with retail finance, exchange schemes, institutional buyers and banks
• Turn customer insight (NPS, leakage, non-consideration) into action
What we are looking for
• 7 to 12 years of sales experience, ideally in automotive, two-wheeler or other distributor-led businesses
• Proven record of delivering targets through distributors or dealers
• Strong analytical skills for planning, stocking and network decisions
• Ability to train, influence and develop partners
• Business English
