About the role
We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer with foundational Python knowledge and enthusiasm for building reliable backend services, APIs, and integrations.

Responsibilities
• Support the development and maintenance of backend applications using Python.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external services.
• Work with databases to store, retrieve, and process application data.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, bug fixing, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and Engineering teams.
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools, practices, and technologies.

Requirements
Must Have
• 2 years of hands-on knowledge of Python.
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.




• Basic experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to learn and work with Carbone.

Nice to have
• Exposure to FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Knowledge of unit testing and API testing.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Basic understanding of cloud services and CI/CD practices.
• Experience through academic, personal, internship, or open-source projects.
