Urgently Hiring – Desktop Support Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Type: Onsite

About the Opportunity We are urgently looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

The adecuado candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, software, and basic network connectivity. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting users, installing and configuring equipment, and ensuring systems are operating properly.

Responsibilities

- Provide Level 1/Level 2 desktop and IT support to users.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows operating system and application issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot Ethernet, LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity.
- Perform hardware replacements, device setups, installations, and equipment deployments.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and common business software.
- Assist with user account, system access, and basic configuration issues.
- Perform break/fix troubleshooting and resolve technical incidents.
- Support IMAC activities, including Install, Move, Add, and Change requests.
- Maintain accurate ticket updates and document troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain asset and equipment information as required.
- Follow technical instructions and standard support procedures.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support team when required.




- Complete service reports and maintain proper documentation of work performed.

Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Field Service, Help Desk, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
- Knowledge of hardware installation, replacement, and configuration.
- Experience with ticketing systems and technical documentation is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a technical support team.
- Professional, reliable, and responsible approach to work.
- Ability to follow technical procedures and instructions accurately.

Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following will be considered an advantage:
- Desktop / End User Computing (EUC) Support
- Field Service Support
- Hardware deployment and replacement
- IMAC services
- Printer and peripheral support
- Microsoft 365
- Basic network troubleshooting
- Asset management

Engagement
- This is a full-time position.
- Immediate availability is preferred due to the urgent hiring requirement.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for providing ongoing desktop and IT support according to business requirements.
- Responsibilities may include hardware and software troubleshooting, installations, equipment replacements, user support, and other assigned IT support activities.
