We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Petroleum Engineer based in

Buenos Aires, to lead consulting assignments, drive local business development, and deliver technical expertise across midstream and downstream sectors. In this role, you will manage complex consulting projects, mentor junior engineers, and cultivate key client relationships to support energy transition, valuation, and market forecasting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

● Project Leadership & Delivery: Manage and support consulting projects across energy transition/decarbonization, transaction and due diligence support, strategy analysis, margin forecasting, and biofuels/NGL studies.

● Business Development: Identify and close sales for new consulting opportunities,

expanding market footprint and growing overall business revenue.

● Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key industry leaders and client organizations to secure recurring consulting business.

● Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, coaching, and leadership to junior team members across various assignment scopes.

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal integral research and consulting teams to leverage market-leading industry insights and subscription products.





Qualifications & Requirements

● Industry Experience: Minimum of 25 years of downstream oil industry experience,

gained through roles in industry, technical consulting, or technology solution firms.

● Technical Expertise: Refinery experience in process engineering, operations,

planning/economics, or project roles (including experience with linear programming/LP usage) is highly preferred.

● Languages: As you will be working in an international environment, fluent English is mandatory to be able to communicate with global teams.

● Education: Bachelor's degree required in Engineering or Business Administration

(MBA) is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.

● Commercial Track Record: Proven success in business development, sales pipeline growth, and project delivery for major internal or external stakeholders.

● Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence and interpersonal relationship-building capabilities.

● Project & Time Management: Strong organizational abilities to prioritize, manage complex workflows, and lead interdisciplinary project teams effectively.
